This past week, our family of three was blessed with a whole week to spend together! We started the week in Augusta, GA where we got to visit with some of our dearest friends! David also got to participate in MedWar for the fourth year! (a medical wilderness race involving running, biking, boating and swimming, along with answering medical questions and scenarios along the way) David has really enjoyed participating in this event each year! Their studly team of 4 placed FIRST for the second time in row!! Go guys go!!

From Augusta, we packed our car and headed to my in-laws lake house in Leesburg, AL. We had such a wonderful week together! We got to go on hikes, play by the water, nap, read, catch up on Downton Abbey, grill out, and spend time as a family. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with spending time in God's beautiful creation.

What an incredible week! So thankful for the time we got to spend with our dear friends and family, for my in-laws allowing us to spend the week in their house and for God opening our eyes to His mighty power and love. We are truly blessed!
